August Visitors

Thursday, August 18th, 2005

year1/Monththree/IP050801-1.jpgOur first weekend back from CA found us back at IP to see Uncle Scott and Auntie Kate. Scott, as both an uncle and a med student, tested SMG’s reflexes and told us about his soft spot. SMG loves a good nap as much as his uncle, so there was much competition in the snoring department.

As always, the Point was abuzz with mosquitos–we had to take drastic measures to keep him safe, even indoors!

Sullivan has had lots of other visitors as well. First cousins once removed Emily and James had visits, as did their parents, Louise and Hugh. Our friends Matt and Maureen stopped by for a cuddle, year1/Monththree/P8030219.jpg and little Madeline came for a play-date with her parents Meg and Shane in tow. Maddie and Sullivan will start daycare together when their Moms go back to school at the end of August.

As always, we can’t fit all the photos in the posts, so visit the Month 3 gallery!

Growing and growing

SMG has outgrown his first outfits, so We pulled out the three month attire. He’s also sporting cloth diapers, which make his legs look like they start at his knees!

year1/Monththree/P8020197.jpgWhile we’re waiting to see if his eyes will be blue or brown, we’re also waiting to see how much of his hair he will keep. He leaves hair behind wherever he lies down. He’s also outgrown his bassinet and has moved into his crib. The first few nights were a little disconcerting for his Mom and Dad, but he has slept as many as nine hours without waking. Dad (especially) is very supportive of this trend.
