Auntie Kate arrived back in New Orleans to Maine-like weather, while we’re suffering with what they usually have. SMG hung out in his diaper all day. We wished we could do the same. Today’s big accomplishment was planting grass and garden seeds in the evening when things began to cool off and when Sullivan finally caught some zzzz’s in his swing.
Bonus – see if you can guess which former babysitter in Augusta drew Marsh’s blood today at the doctor’s office? (Hint: think long, plastic fingernails)
I’ve managed to forget her name, unfortunately, but I have a precise image in my mind of that former babysitter. I also seem to remember that Marsh enjoyed ignoring her directives. I, by contrast, was always helpful and pleasant as a babysittee. We’ll see who Sullivan takes after on that score.

cindy bourgoin?
I need another hint to guess this long fingernailed babysitter riddle.
Sullivan is growing as fast as the grass seed you planted in the backyard.
Great tummy there Sullivan !
Did Ave just admit to forgetting something???
Don’t let her fool you… she was the mastermind in the babysitter resistance.
Hint: I think Saskia moved into the babysitter’s old house.
Here’s the thing: Marsh definitely invented the game he called “Beat up the babysitter.” It involved trapping the babysitter in the living room and then putting her in the hall closet. I don’t think it was Saskia who moved into the long fingernailed babysitter’s old house; my hint of the day is that the babysitter’s name began with “D” (I think).
Monique Baillargeon moved into her house?
I confirmed the babysitter’s identity with Marsh last night, and thus now have proof that I never forget anything. Her name does begin with D. Marsh was wrong about Saskia — Malaika Danovitz moved into the babysitter’s house, not Saskia. I’m surprised that Bugsie hasn’t guessed the name yet, as this babysitter made quite an impression on her.
